Apostle Paul Tour

A private half-day tour following Apostle Paul’s route through Corinth, timed to fit around a long layover. Leaving Athens, your driver takes the coast road with views over the Saronic Gulf before reaching the Corinth Canal viewpoint, where the cliffs drop away to the narrow shipping channel far below. The route continues to Corinth, then to the centrepiece of the day: Ancient Corinth, where you walk among the Temple of Apollo, the ancient Agora, and the Bema, the raised stone platform where Paul addressed the city.

From the archaeological site the tour carries on to the ancient Diolkos, the stone-paved trackway once used to haul ships across the isthmus, and then to Kechries, the ancient port Paul sailed from and the site of one of the region’s earliest churches. The day closes at the hilltop fortress of Acrocorinth, with views over the Corinthian Gulf and the plain below, before the drive back to Athens.

A free audio guide is included throughout, so you can follow the biblical and historical background at your own pace while your driver concentrates on the road. Private pickup and drop-off and a modern air-conditioned vehicle come as standard. Entrance to Ancient Corinth is not included and is paid at the site. Time is built into each stop rather than a rushed drive-by, so the day holds together even on a tight schedule.
